Boomerope

Your hands in the sky.

The Boomerope is a patented, professional-grade tool, that threads a rope through or around anything a pole can reach, while keeping your feet safely on the ground. Mounted with a universal thread on to any fixed-length or telescopic pole, or to a simple broom handle, the Boomerope eliminates the need to climb ladders or use lifts for many common tasks. It threads the lead line through a ring as small as 1 inch (25.4 mm) in diameter or around an object as wide as 10 inches (254 mm) across. The hole in the shuttle can accommodate a lead line of up to 1/4 inch (6.4 mm) in diameter. The Boomerope is manufactured from durable, impact resistant polymer materials.

After placing the lead line where you need it with the Boomerope, you can attach any other kind of rope, chain, wire, or what-have-you to the lead line and pull it up into position, to do whatever you need.

Your Favorite Pole

Already familiar in your hands.

(user-supplied, not included in this kit)

The Boomerope and Control Line Reels can be used with nearly any kind of pole from a 4-foot broomstick to a 25-foot long extension pole. Much longer telescopic or sectional poles can be used by adding extensions of cord between the Control Line Reels' webbing and the Boomerope's control cords. You will still have the benefit of the self-tensioning function during use.

To connect to the Boomerope, the pole must have a standard threaded end (3/4"-5 ACME), which is common on most poles. If your pole has a quick release end of some type, you will need to obtain an adapter to the standard thread.

It is the customer's responsibility to choose a pole suitable to the job at hand. The head of the Boomerope weighs 24 oz (0.68 kg) so your pole will need to accommodate this weight and the weight of the lead line. If your pole is very light construction, you may need to extend and collapse it vertically to reduce the stress on the pole.

The tool and any pole is NOT to be used ON or NEAR electrical wiring of any kind. Keep at least 10 feet (3 meters) away from any power lines. Always obey the instructions and guidelines set out by your pole's manufacturer.

Control Line Reels

Your extra pair of hands.

This accessory incorporates control line extensions for the Boomerope and an easy way to keep them close at hand. The Control Line Reels clamp onto your pole and they pay out up to 25 feet of control line as you extend your telescopic pole. The Control Line Reels' webbing is colored to match the Boomerope's operation: green to extend (show the arms), blue to return (hide the arms). Or you can think of it as extend on your right hand side, return on your left hand side. The Control Line Reels are of rugged construction.

When you don't need it, use the quick release to remove the Control Line Reels unit from the pole. The Locking Latch folds over for easy storage. When you need the Control Line Reels again, clamp it onto the same size pole without any extra adjustment: you can set it and forget it.

If your pole is longer than 25 feet, attach webbing extensions between the swivel snaps on the Control Line Reels and the cord loops on the Boomerope. You will still gain the benefits of the Control Line Reels.
